It's a fallacy to think that just because you build a website, people will find it. Unless you point them to it, they won't. So what can be done to get people to find your site?

• Paid Search (e.g., Google's AdWords)

• Online Advertising

• Traditional Advertising (e.g., print, radio, billboard, etc.)

• Traditional Direct Marketing (e.g., postal mailings)

• PR (e.g., appearing on The Today Show)

Don't just build it and hope they come. They won't. Unless you point them to it.
